Naleh'a -- FATHER OF NAN. ALBINO. -

Qaro'to - Father. The monogamous mate of Nan. Deeply in love with his partner. The great great great grandson to a mother with albinism. An agile lancer but a much better childrearer. Is known to the clan for his caretaking and good nature with kits. Prefers watching over children to hunting. He employs the help of older children to help in his work where they can, teaching everyone that mutual aid is a life-long ideal to be performed with others. Has traditional wall wards. A gentle man of few words. Not very good at speaking common anymore, very rusty. While not easily swayed, his quiet nature makes it difficult to observe his inner thoughts on any person before him.

Nan - Mother. The monogamous mate of Qaro'to. Deeply in love with her partner. The daughter of an albino man, takes the recessive gene. Given Elder status, she is among the highest-ranked adults in the clan at the moment. A master of all Vaadragi wards; traditional walls, far-sight, elemental manipulation, and moon-mending. She considers herself a teacher and is constantly taking children under her wing for a season before continuing on the path. In her rotations, she checks on past students' progress and reinstructs where needed. Highly critical, but believes in each person's potential. Decent common speaking skills, but she is judgmental of Outsiders and not easily swayed.

Nan'a - The eldest son of Nan. Used to be very close with Nan'to. Affinity to elemental manipulation wards. Chose to go far and take his rite in Gridania. Became involved with the Twin Adders and participated in relay communications during the fight at Cartineau before the Calamity destroyed most of the people there. He was lucky to survive, but was not unscarred for it--Nan'a was roughly injured and lost most of his tail to shrapnel falling and cutting it off. He was extremely shell-shocked for a while before developing a cold front. His emotions come off dull, and he doesn't value attachments as much anymore, but he really does still care about people. Just alone.

Qusu - The first daughter of Nan. Younger sister to Nan'a and older sister to Nan'to. Very close to Nan'sae. Fond of Nan'to. Tolerates Nan'li. Took her rite to Limsa Lominsa, telling Nan'to all about it. She chose to become a sailor and leave the clan, only to return occasionally with plenty of gifts. She loves children but would rather hold others' than her own. Her voyages are long and her returns are never certain. A bold soul with a loud laugh. Cannot read very well, but is incredibly strong. Affinity to elemental manipulation, earth in particular, but is trying hard to learn moonmending in-between visits. Not making much headway there, but conjury is coming! Currently in a not-so-serious relationship with a roegadyn woman on her ship.

Nan'to - The second son and third child of Nan. Used to be very close to Nan'a. Very close to Nan'li. Albino. Born without ward affinity or magick ability of any kind. Has an eye condition called reflex iridoplegia, the absence of dilation of the iris sphincter when faced with light, making seeing in bright sunlight near impossible. High sun sensitivity, which Nan'to mostly hid from for two decades. Died once at age 12 after drowning in the river, but was resuscitated. Overcame a great depression from his late teenage years to early twenties. Was abused in his last relationship, and fathered a child that he is unaware of. Takes on the caring of his father and the fierce determination of his mother. While he may have had a late start to his rite, and subsequently, what he considers his true adult years, Nan'to has flourished in the last 5-6 years in the East and grown incredibly. He takes pride in his assassination work, taking great care to be both ethical in job acceptance and in practice of killing. He believes in reincarnation, and has personal experience to prove it. On his list of accomplishments is a perfect score on the combat examination at his last bounty office, as well as clearing his assassination training with flying colours. He has also learned four languages in total. He is building a new life in Ishgard despite being framed for terrorism and breaking up with the lord of a lower house.

Nan'li - The third son and forth child of Nan. Very close to Nan'to. A skilled trader and decent weaver. Has a poorly healed leg which gives him a limp. Some days are worse than others, so he has a cane. His disability is not considered a detriment by anyone in the clan though, as he has found many ways to make do despite it. He has a chocobo, Traveler, to travel with, and has completed his rite in Ul'dah under [NAME OF LALAFELL TRADER HERE]. Primarily runs the Last Stop trading post at his homestead, north drop of Whilom river in middle Alunria, above the Bloodborne bay. This trading post takes clansmate's items and sells them in order to use the profits to buy requested items in exchange. Paint, medicine, wines, all for his clan. Profits are not a priority, practicality is. However, they have stockpiled enough to have common requested goods readily on hand. Secondarily he upkeeps his homestead with his older brother and the occasional visits from clanmates who wish to use his space or rest a while. He is well-liked not only for his charming attitude, but for his lovemaking with all genders. Does not believe in pilgrimage or revere the Twelve whatsoever. Prays to Hræsvelgr above all else. Has bleached some of his hair in solidarity with his albino siblings. Polyamorous like most others in the Vaadrage tribe, he keeps on well with Yalho, Nhyuni, and [ONE OF THE GUYS FROM THE WOOD SQUAD]

Dozi - (dead) The second daughter and fifth child of Nan. Albino. Loved learning about botany and had 5 dozen species memorized. Fell ill one winter, during a particularly hard year (aether supping from Alexander), and did not recover. The Ancients have her memories.

Nan'sae. - The fourth son and sixth child of Nan. Albino. Ever the trickster, Nan'sae was well known for his pranks and notorious laughter. His sense of humour and ability to make jokes out of anything can make him both very liked and very disliked, as he often does not 'read the room'. Similar to Nan'to, Nan'sae has macular degeneration, which began to show at a young age with an incredible sensitivity to light. Unlike Nan'to however, Nan'sae stubbornly went into the day to take his rite, irreversibly damaging his eyes. His condition is quite severe now, as he only has 30% of his vision left. This does not discourage him, though. These days, he often blindfolds himself during the day to exclusively use his aethersight, enjoying some sight only in the nighttime. No one knows where he is right now, but he's actually in Thavnair doing errand work for a higher-class family.

Nan'ra - The fifth son and last child of Nan. The husband of Pheobe, whom he is endlessly dedicated to. Adventurer and resistance supporter. The runt of the liter, so to speak. For the longest time, he was the butt of many of Nan'sae's jokes, and the two of them got into many fights. Often pulled aside by Nan'a to talk on his behaviour. Eventually, Nan'ra became very professional over all disputes, even over uncomfortable matters--for better or for worse. He has a tendency not to stick up for himself, especially his emotional needs. He's trying hard to be better at self-care. He left to visit Ul'dah and train in pugilism, and eventually, arcanima. He did not complete his rite properly, but rather, continued on as an adventurer after meeting Pheobe. (He did return with her, so his siblings seem to agree that that was good enough.) Currently, he and his wife are working hard to aid the Bozjan Resistance.

Pheobe - The wife of Nan'ra, whom she is endlessly proud of. An ex-prostitute from Radz-at-Han. Adventurer and resistance supporter. An orphan adopted by a hyuran man named Oswyn who fled Ala Mhigo to Thavnair, where they made a new life. The Dylorn family name comes with the reputation of being chrono-smiths, and she grew up surrounded by much ticking. Pheobe can fix a chronometer easily, and has a wristwatch (that she doesn't much wear, if only so-as not to break it!). One day, she grew tired of the life and took her savings to take a boat over the sea to Ul'dah, where she met Nan'ra and picked up the bow to practice in the sands outside the city. She sends her father letters regularly, and never wondered until recently where she came from. After meeting her blood brother, Ohka, she learned she was once part of the M' tribe in the South Shroud. Currently, she and her husband are working hard to aid the Bozjan Resistance.

Ohka - The elder brother to Pheobe. The best friend of Auvoix. Widow and ex-communicated member of the M' tribe faction in South Shroud. Once a dedicated dancer to Azeyma, his days of appealing to the goddess in that fashion are behind him. His husband was gored by boars and did not survive long,

Auvoix - The best friend of Ohka. Toxicologist and scientific investigator. Originally from La Noscea, he saved his money to flee the farms and begin an adventure around the star, traveling endlessly and taking on any job he could get. He cultivated his arcanima into a lightning focus, taking his blade work to the next level. After he had enough savings set aside from all the work, and realised what he found more interesting than anything else, he went to get an education in Thavnair's capital, obtaining his doctorate in toxicology. He kept up personal funds with normal alchemy work and peer review before starting the Violet Eye, an organization to investigate peculiar phenomenon across the star, whose office lies in Radz-at-Han. In recent years, they realised they was genderfluid and have been enjoying the understanding of their true self. They was delighted to make Nan'to's acquaintance to learn more about NightRaid and its work in the supernatural. The two organizations often share professional jobs with each other as needed for mutual benefit. As an addendum, she considers her childhood friend L'ahqoh as her partner in 'scientific crime', even if he's almost always in Coerthas doing his aetheric research these days.

Ohari - Tailor and a current 'thread' to the Underground in Hingashi. The orphan heir to the Oriko family. One of only two survivors of the great fire that caught their manor. High affinity for ice magick, but keeps this fact a secret from almost everyone. Has mangled skin on her left hand from the flames and keeps it covered in a bright white glove. Because she has lost her entire noble family, Ohari chose to leave that life behind her and take up the hobby she loved most as her life's calling. She is an esteemed contact and friend of Nan'to. In regards to her status as part of the Underground, Ohari involves herself in some less-than-ethical practices, believing that the law's dictation is often too stifling. She believes in the benefit of assassination, drugs, prostitution, and other trade that is less than admired, and will help one reach the Market, should they seem trustworthy to her. While the Underground folk, Ohari included, tolerate yakuza presence, they do not tolerate many practices upheld by them and keep a vigilant eye for trouble. Underground, yakuza have reason to fear, not the other way around. Those who interfere in the sacred nature of the Market will be killed on the spot, and all merchants may participate. Behave.

Calpunea - The younger dog of Nan'li and Nan'to. Garlean Schipperke dog. All black. Does not like sitting on laps, but is highly pet motivated. Odd combo. Will tolerate being picked up. Barks incessantly when people arrive. Usually not home, out hunting hares to bring home or rats to eat. Helps keep deer away from crops.

Julias - The older dog of Nan'li and Nan'to. Garlean (Austrian) Shepherd dog. Has heterochromia, blue and brown eyes. Primarily white with brown and black colouring. Trained to hunt for truffles for a few hours at a time. Likes to sleep by the fire. Enjoys lounging on top of people even though he's heavy. Tolerates being laid upon. Can sleep through loud voices, but will always answer to food.

Traveler - The chocobo of Nan'li.

Tesa - The first mate of Nan'to, abusive physically and verbally. Fathered his child after he left. Still hasn't told him.

Rhea - Childhood friend, presumably lost to sea.

Yalho - The older twin of Hoya. Energetic pearler, archer, bad about keeping clean. Farsight ward. 5 fulms tall. Has a child from Nan'li staying with Qaro'to.

Hoya - The younger twin of Yalho. Laid-back seamstress, traditional staff mage, original wall-ward. 5 fulms tall.

Ehbi (Moss) - Low ward affinity, higher aetheric manipulation--uses her water magicks alongside her blade. Hot-headed and often bites off more than she can chew. Short and strong.

Bhinu - The older sister of Ehbi.

Yewa - (dead) The eldest sister of Bhinu and Ehbi. Was put on bounty board for launching a murderous assault against the tomes and living scribes of Idyllshire. Believed the written word to be a sin.

Khali’a - The primary mate to Nhyuni. Skilled culnarian.

Nhyuni - The primary mate to Khali'a. Excellent woodsmith, an expert in furniture crafting. Loves to tell tall tales and lies. Has a cackle of a laugh and is not elegant.

Nhyuni'a - Nhyuni's firstborn child from Nan'li. Born when Nan'to left on rite. Very curious and enjoys mineral identification, but mispronounces them a lot. Enjoys building stories like his mom. Nan'li is trying to teach him to read. [Bard energy]

Jhuzem - Nhyuni's second born child from Khali'a. 2 years younger than Nhyuni'a. Teeth have come in sharp-still biting tails. Working on words. [Warrior energy]
